Light of Wellness Awards
Presented by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield
The Light of Wellness Awards recognizes individuals for their accomplishments in promoting health and wellness at their workplace. The awards are presented annually in the Spring at a ceremony in Des Moines.
There are three categories:
- Individual (for personal life style changes that result in significant health improvements)
- Leadership (for wellness managers who inspire other employees to join in the wellness effort and thus impact the overall health of employees), and
- Program (for wellness programs that positively impact employee health outcomes and potentially achieve national award recognition.)
